He steered Fedders Lloyd to first position in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and sustained it for two decades till he left it as Executive Director in 1989 to join the Board of PSL Ltd. as Director. He is the first to bring Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating to reinforcing steel in India and pioneer in use of steel in office furniture saving timber to ecological benefits.
